Experience
Phil has been tutoring students K-Adult for the past 8 years. His journey as an educator began when he and his college roomate bought a Japanes math and reading franchise. Upon selling the education franchise, Phil became a math and reading K-12 tutor for The National Lighthouse Foundation (N.L.H.F.) where he eventually became the Associate Director. As Associate Director of N.L.H.F., Phil oversaw one of the largest after school supplemental education tutorial programs in GA. From the non-profit industry Phil entered the world of test prep, where he worked for a private firm in East Cobb. There he continued to tutor K-12, but also provided SAT, ACT, and GED prep. Currently Phil is a certifed Math teacher by way of Teach for America. He can be found instructing 11th graders at a South Fulton High School, where he teaches the new Integrated Math curriculums. Phil is also the son of an ex-NBA all star and is known for his ability to teach the game of basketball. Phil conducts individual workouts and has coached at various levels, including the high school where he currently teaches.
