Experience
After receiveing her masters in education from William & Mary she headed a skills center in Hampton Virgina , taught adult education classes in night school at W&M, and taught at the Hampton Roads Police academy. In 1980 she became the 1st female Virginia state supervisor for employment and training programs and adminstered programs for the Job Training Partnership Act through the Department of Labor. She developed state wide curriculum , instituted the first program evaluation criteria, and lead her state in being top in placement after training. She has lived in St. Thomas for the last 9 years. She holds a real estate brokers license and keeps active in the educational community by subsitute teaching, and SAT training for Bell Curves. She is an avid scuba diver, lives on a sailboat, and enjoys sailing around the islands. she has two children Beau and Elizabeth and four lovely grandchildren all girls.
